Je kan de cursussen van het eerste semester vanaf NU bestellen! Van zodra deze geleverd zijn kunnen deze afgehaald worden in het GBK-kot.
Maar hoe gaat dat in z’n werk?
Surf naar: https://shop.fkgent.be/ en log in met jouw CAS-gegevens. Hierna zal je onze studentenvereniging moeten ingeven en de juiste vakken aanklikken waarvan je een cursus wenst. Je kan op de GBK-website (https://biologie.ugent.be/boekenverkoop) controleren of een cursus al dan niet aanwezig/besteld is.
Hoe krijg ik de ledenkorting?
Om te genieten van de ledenprijs moet je je registreren. Dit kan via https://registratie.fkgent.be/gbk/registration/authenticate en klik op “Ik vul zelf al mijn gegevens in“. Het betalen van deze lidkaart (€ 10) kan tijdens het afhalen van de cursussen. Belangrijk: een GBK-lidmaatschap is maar 1 jaar geldig. Indien je opnieuw lid wenst te worden moet je dus via bovenstaande website jezelf registreren.

Wanneer kan je jouw cursussen bestellen/afhalen?
De cursussen kan je bestellen en afhalen vanaf maandag 25/10/2023 (WEEK 1). Bestellen kan t.e.m. 20/10/2023 (WEEK 4), afhalen kan t.e.m. 27/10/2023 (WEEK 5) van ma tot vrij van 13u00 tot 13u45. Na deze periode kunnen er GEEN cursussen meer worden besteld of afgehaald (no exceptions!)
Op welke manier kan ik betalen?
Je kan betalen via bancontact of met cash, maar we raden bancontact aan!
Cursustip van de dag
Enkele boeken (o.a. Campbell biology) zijn NIET verplicht om te kopen. Let dus goed op het verschil “optioneel” en “verplicht” bij categorieën.
Veldgidsen en in het bijzonder Heukels’ Flora raden wij ten sterkste aan, ondanks deze niet verplicht zijn om aan te kopen. Zeg nu zelf wat is een bioloog zonder Heukels? Het is daarnaast ook niet te missen bij je herbariumopdracht (3e bachelor)!

You can order your syllabi NOW! As soon as these have been delivered, they can be collected from the GBK room.
But how does that work?
Surf to: https://shop.fkgent.be/ and log in with your CAS-login. After this, you will have to click on our student association and on the correct subjects for which you wish to take a course. You can check whether or not a syllabus is available/ordered on the GBK website (https://biologie.ugent.be/boekenkoop)
How do I get the member discount?
To enjoy the membership price you have to register. This can be done via https://registration.fkgent.be/gbk/registration/authenticate and click on “Ik vul zelf al mijn gegevens in”. You can pay for this membership card (€ 10) when you pick up your books. Important: a GBK-membership is valid for 1 year. If you were already a member previous year, you will have to registrate again (see the link above).

When can you order/collect your courses?
You can order and collect the courses from Monday 25/10/2023 (WEEK 1). You can order until 20/10/2023 (WEEK 4), collection is possible until 27/10/2023 (WEEK 5) from Mon to Fri from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. After this period, NO more courses can be ordered or picked up (no exceptions!)

Course tip of the day
Some books (e.g.: Campbell biology) are NOT mandatory to purchase. So pay close attention to the difference between “optional” and “mandatory” in categories.
We strongly recommend field guides and in particular Heukels’ Flora, although they are not mandatory to purchase. Let’s be honest, what is a biologist without Heukels? It is also a must for your herbarium assignment (3rd bachelor)!
